Insurance Billing Processor

Background
The client is a company that handles the billing of medical insurance for hospitals and medical transport and prepares them for the insurance company.

Challenge
The problem is that the client has to handle the processing manually, needing a lot of man hours from skilled workers. The cost of this can be very high. With the help of this platform, most of the processing can be done by the system and the front-end user can be just about anybody, without needing any expertise in the medical insurance industry.

Solution
The wireframing process started by dividing the processing system into 3 modules: entering a claim, matching an entity with an existing one in the system, and medical coding. Since the end-user won't be an expert in the medical industry, the UI and UX was designed in a way that guided the user throughout the whole phase. This way, there's a clear flow for the user to avoid any confusion. This is also why the processing is divided into 3 modules so each user would only work on one module each.
